Courtney Love will receive the Icon Award at next month’s NME Awards 2020, so NME took it upon themselves to discuss her most iconic moments:
-Her short career in film resulted in a Golden Globe nominee for her role in ‘The People vs. Larry Flynt’
-She had a brief fling with Steve Coogan in 2005, not knowing he was famous for his role as Alan Partridge. The Brits were outraged. "I thought he was Tony Wilson in '24 Hour Party People'– somebody I’d always had a daddy thing for."(OP note: Wow, her feedback would have been great for this post.)
-She pelted Madonna with compact mirrors at the 1995 MTV VMAs, crashing her interview while doing so, as per the video below
