-BTVS spin off is set to celebrate their 20th anniversary later this year and David Boreanaz who played Angel wants everyone to know to stay tuned as they may have something in the works for fans closer to the official anniversary date [October 5].
-Angel ran for 5 seasons and despite being the 2nd highest rated show at the time ended up being cancelled. Joss Whedon attempted to force WBs hand at giving the show an earlier renewal for a 6th season instead of waiting until May which many believe lead to the show getting canceled. TheWB had attempted to cancel Buffy as well when Joss wanted a budget increase for the shows 6th season.
-Angel would bring the live action Buffyverse to an end after 3 attempted spin offs failed to gain any traction.
