We already know Placebo has created a site of memories for the 20th anniversary of the 'Without You, I'm Nothing' release, but now Stefan Olsdal has spoken to NME about everything.

Highlights:
-David Bowie came to Placebo after they had recorded the album, wanting to collaborate. Olsdal doesn't know what he saw in them.
-It's unlikely future shows will play the album in full, but "never say never"
-Called the first record "the party album" because they were young and had a record deal; the second album was a comedown because they were faced with themselves and the chemicals had worn off
-Says the album’s themes of depression and gender fluidity have a newfound relevance in 2018 and that Placebo was always championing these issues
-Their 8th album could be more experimental now that Sonic Youth is no longer a band and there's an open slot for them
-No word on when said 8th album will ever appear
