Today, on April 4, Heath Ledger would have been 38 years old. Heath died over 9 years ago in January, at the age of 28. He was halfway through the role as Tony in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus when he passed. The Joker in The Dark Knight was the last role he completed, which he rightfully won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for in 2008, making him the first comic-book movie actor to win an Oscar.
Some of the footage in the documentary was shot by Heath himself. Many of his friends, people who have worked with him, and even his sister have spoken for this film. It premieres May 17 on Spike.
